It All Begins Here
At Dial a Midwife, we offer a range of continuity programs.
Our programs work because we build a relationship over time, and so regular appointments are a vital part of how we achieve that together.
Our programs are designed to work through regular, ongoing connection. Seeing each other consistently allows us to build a relationship, support you through decision-making and gently work through any worries or uncertainty as they arise.
Because of this, most women attend weekly (4 times per month). This consistency is what makes the program effective and supportive.
If sessions are missed or become irregular, we may pause the program and move you to flexible (ad-hoc) care instead. This simply ensures that the program remains helpful and that you’re getting the kind of support that best suits you.
What does the care involve?
We offer a range of programs including first-time Mums, continuity of care, early pregnancy, VBAC, twins, high-risk pregnancy, postnatal care, antenatal classes, caesarean planning, prep for birth and baby etc.
Your care is tailored to your needs and includes emotional support and exploring how you’re feeling. Our programs are designed to support you not just with information, but in making decisions throughout your pregnancy and early parenting. Many women find that worries, uncertainty or past experiences can influence how they approach pregnancy and birth, and as part of our appointments, we may explore these areas together and look at ways to help you feel more calm, confident and supported.
This isn’t a replacement for therapy, and if at any point you would benefit from additional support, I can guide you toward the right services.
Before we begin, I invite you to complete the short questionnaire below. This helps me understand what matters most to you, so I can support you in a way that feels meaningful. Once you submit your form, you’ll be re-directed so that you can make your next appointment.
